From there, coaches will explore the development of the headstand, handstand, and freestanding handstand push-up using a structured Point A to Point B approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop will focus on building positional awareness, confidence, alignment, and control through foundational shapes and progressions while teaching coaches how to safely and effectively spot athletes throughout the development process. Having owned and operated CrossFit CrossAxed for over 15 years and now leading First Point CrossFit in Noosa, Rob has built a reputation for developing high-level coaches, creating strong gym cultures, and delivering practical, athlete-focused coaching systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rob has held his CrossFit Level 3 credential since 2017 and is known for his deep understanding of gymnastics development, movement progressions, and long-term athlete growth within the group class environment. Alongside affiliate ownership and coaching, Rob is also a lead coach for both The Gymnastics Course and Bird Box Coaching Development, where he educates coaches around effective movement progressions, spotting, class management, and coaching communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of CrossFit, Rob spent 18 years as a professional firefighter, working both on the front line and in specialist instructional roles.
