Mikki Martin

Mikki Lee Martin is Co-Founder of the Brand X Method®, Director of Youth Programs and serves as it’s Chief Visionary Officer. She leads Brand X® content creation and development specifically for elementary age children.

Since 1999 she has been involved with coaching, teaching both self -defense and youth fitness. Serving as Director of Youth Programs for CrossFit HQ 2011-2014, she was co-developer of the Certification 2008 and program since 2004 as well as Training Staff for Kids Courses. Mikki has been a key presenter at hundreds of Youth Fitness Seminars, trained and worked directly with thousands of coaches. In 2014, she spoke at the Aspen Institute’s Project Play at Google HQ on youth fitness, technology and access. She sits on the Advisory Board for Parker University Strength & Conditioning Masters Program, youth focused organizations like StandUpKids and ACN, and is a founding member of the Childhood Obesity intervention organization, TeenLIFT.   Over the years Mikki has obtained certification as a Krav Maga instructor, obtained a Black Belt in Kenpo Karate, became an ISSA Youth Fitness Trainer, was a Judge at the CrossFit Games Regional Competitions 2009-2011, and at age 49 became a USA Powerlifting State Record Holder.

She has also served as both a Judge and event organizer for multiple Youth events including competitions at the LA Fit Expo, CrossFit Games, SHAPE conferences and the Arnold Sports Festival.

Additionally, she studied at SDSU with an emphasis in Industrial Design and Art History
