Dr. Tom McCoy is dual board certified in Family and Obesity medicine. He is Co-Founder of McCoy Medical and serves as Clinical Lead for Health and Performance. Using a lifestyle concepts approach with an emphasis on the importance of community, McCoy Medical integrates their practices into facilities where health is truly created: local training facilities and therapy centers.
Dr. McCoy graduated from Cal State East Bay magna cum laude with a degree in biological sciences. He went on to obtain his osteopathic medical degree from Midwestern University where he was one of two dual degree students to obtain a Masters in Bioethics as well.
Dr. McCoy co-owns Chagrin Falls CrossFit where he coaches regularly. He has been an active voice for CrossFit Health, appearing in educational content and speaking at the 2021 and 2023 CrossFit Games on how the CrossFit methodology can be utilized to address some of the biggest health challenges around the globe.
