Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of application
The following General Terms and Conditions shall apply in the version valid at the time of conclusion of the contract to all legal transactions of Coaches Congress Scandinavia AB, hereinafter referred to as “Coaches Congress”, under this contract with its contractual partner, hereinafter referred to as “Attendee”.
Attendees may only be entrepreneurs and professionals, not end consumers.
Conflicting general terms and conditions of the Attendee are inapplicable unless Coaches Congress has expressly agreed to them prior in writing.
2. Registration
The purchase of tickets for events hosted by Coaches Congress is made online on the website: www.coachescongress.com. Since the number of participants for events is limited, registrations are considered in the order of their receipt. The receipt of the registration will be confirmed by email. However, this confirmation email does not yet lead to the completion of the conclusion of a contract with Coaches Congress and to a binding registration. Only when Coaches Congress has sent an event ticket by email is the Attendee´s registration binding, and the contract between the Attendee and Coaches Congress is established.
3. Payment terms
All prices for the purchase of tickets for events hosted by Coaches Congress, hereinafter referred to as “Registration Fee”, are displayed in British pounds (GBP) and subject to VAT at the statutory rate in England of 20%. VAT will be added automatically in your cart. With checkout and payment the final price will be shown in your cart.
Coaches Congress accepts credit cards Mastercard and Visa as payment. Furthermore, it is possible to pay via the payment provider PayPal. Your bank or credit card details are stored with PayPal after your own registration. The Registration Fee will be debited to the payment method provided after the order has been placed. Information on data processing and security by PayPal can be found here.
4. Cancellation of events by Coaches Congress
Coaches Congress has the right to cancel events for reasonable cause, in particular if an insufficient number of registrations have been received, in the event of force majeure, or if a speaker is sick or otherwise unavailable and cannot be replaced adequately.
Force majeure is any event beyond the control of a party and for which it is not responsible, which wholly or partially excludes or significantly impedes the fulfilment of this contract in accordance with the purpose of the contract or makes it unreasonable for a party. This includes, but is not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism (including the threat, danger or justified suspicion of such acts of terrorism), violent riots (including the threat, danger or justified fear of such riots), war or war-like events, epidemics, pandemics, fire, extreme or catastrophic weather conditions (such as flooding or wind conditions) that pose a threat to the life and limb of those attending the event, severe weather and/or disaster warnings, strikes, and official orders not caused by the party concerned, in particular due to the above-mentioned events.
Coaches Congress has the right to cancel an event if its performance is prohibited by authorities or legal regulations or if a person significantly involved in the event cannot be present due to sickness or cannot travel to and from the event due to entry and/or exit restrictions.
In the event of cancellation of the event for any of the above-mentioned reasons, Coaches Congress will inform the Attendee immediately and the Registration Fee will be refunded. Any further claims, in particular the reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs and loss of working hours, are excluded.
Coaches Congress is also entitled to make other organizational changes for the event (such as changing the venue, changing the speaker, or postponing the event) for reasonable cause. Changes of speaker and/or changes of the event location do not entitle the Attendee to withdraw from the contract or to a reduction in the Registration Fee.
A postponement of the event only entitles the Attendee to withdraw from the contract if the Attendee can prove that he/she cannot reasonably be expected to attend the new date.
5. Cancellation by the Attendee
An attendee has the right to cancel attending the event. All tickets are non-refundable, however, name changes are allowed with written notice via email to: info@coachescongress.com up to the respective start of the event.
6. Intellectual Property
All documents and information provided in the context of the event by the Coaches Congress or the speaker(s) and/or by third parties engaged to carry out the event are protected by copyright and may not be published or otherwise used without prior written consent.
Photos, videos and other recordings made by the Attendee during the event and showing event content are for private use only.
7. Photos, Audio and/or Video Recordings
In the event that photos, video and/or audio recordings are made by Coaches Congress or the speaker(s) and/or by third parties engaged for this purpose during an event, the Attendee agrees that he/she will be recorded in image and/or sound and that the photos and/or recordings may be used without limitation, in particular, without entitlement to remuneration, by Coaches Congress and/or the speaker(s) themselves and/or through third parties, in whole and/or in part, in physical and in intangible form, in all media and formats (e.g. print, social media, audiovisual media, online, etc.).
8. Applicable Law, Place of jurisdiction
This contract is governed by Swedish Law. The place of jurisdiction is Stockholm, Sweden.
