“What do we as coaches do when the standard technique doesn’t work?”

Teaching and optimizing techniques in Olympic lifts for natural lifters with perfect prerequisites is a relatively simple task. However, creating functional techniques for unnatural lifters—those with long limbs, stiff ankles, and poor coordination—is considerably more challenging. The significant challenge lies in the fact that there are as many unnatural lifters as there are natural ones in a box, which means we coaches simply need to become better at understanding what suits whom. Everyone deserves quality training!
During our workshop, we will explore alternative solutions to help yourself or your lifters achieve safer and more efficient lifts regardless of their circumstances. You will get to experiment with different styles and techniques, all aimed at making you a better coach in the Olympic lifts. A skilled coach sees how individuals can succeed in the future. Then, a plan is created to teach and adapt the lifter to their perfect technique. Hope to see you on the gym floor”

  • What is the difference between your plan and planning for a client?
  • ⁠What are our options to make money from selling weightlifting training plans?

More about Anders:

Anders Lindsjö is a professional strength and conditioning coach and has a background as an Olympian in weightlifting in 1992. He has held seminars and lectures at various universities and high schools, national federations, and fitness clubs worldwide and author of Eleiko Strength Coach. His coaching experience includes the highest leagues of team sports in soccer, volleyball, handball, floorball, and basketball. He has helped individuals in track and field, ice hockey, wrestling, golf, tennis, and other sports during 25 years of coaching.

His passion is to make training simple and help and educate athletes to be as best as they can.
