“Not Small Men: Rethinking How We Coach Women”
First, coaching for variability rather than consistency helping coaches understand how to work with fluctuating performance instead of misinterpreting it. Second, building flexible frameworks rather than rigid programmes showing how to adapt intensity, volume, and expectations without overcomplicating delivery. Third, changing the conversation giving coaches the confidence to talk about hormones, periods, and menopause so women feel supported rather than like they’re the problem.
The aim is to give coaches simple, practical tools they can apply immediately within group training environments to improve both outcomes and retention.
